Cherry Hinton Community Benefit Society was set up to administer the new Cherry Hinton Community Hub, which will be an extension of Cherry Hinton Library and consist of a community cafe and meeting rooms.
Cherry Hinton Community Benefit Society are now seeking either a part-qualified/trainee accountant or experienced bookkeeper (5 yrs +). This voluntary role is crucial in helping us realise the library's expansion into a community hub.
You will join a small but growing team of energetic, friendly volunteers, and the role is expected initially to require around 1-2 hours per week. You will report to our Finance Director, and typical duties will include nominal accounts, purchase ledger, bank and donation reconciliation, monthly reports and budgets.
