Cherry Hinton Allotments

Cherry Hinton Allotments are a small long established society, providing affordable growing spaces for people living in the Cherry Hinton area. We have a vibrant and helpful community of plot holders, who are supported by a committee elected by the members.

Cherry Hinton Cricket Club

For those not from the village or new to the village, until 1979, Cherry Hinton Cricket Club played their cricket at Cherry Hinton Hall, but found it difficult to play there after the Folk Festival, so needed to find an alternative venue. Other avenues were explored, on the Cherry Hinton Recreation Ground, Netherhall School and Nightingale Avenue, but we were fortunate to find a wicket that was not being used at Stow-cum-Quy.  We amalgamated with Quy Football Club to make Quy Sports Assocaition, and have played at Quy ever since, although have retained the name of Cherry Hinton CC.
